Authors, performers, music, dance and theater groups will gather in the village of Krutushka, the Republic of Tatarstan, the source of creative inspiration for which is ethnic and traditional folk material, carriers and custodians of authentic folklore of different nations, as well as masters of decorative and applied art and national crafts from Russia, near and far abroad. All conditions are created here for a comfortable life for guests and participants of the Krutushka International Ethnic Festival: cozy rooms in the comfortable buildings, summer houses, dining room, first-aid post.

The installation site of the main festival scene is a football field in the complex, surrounded by centuries-old spruces. “Fairground”, an open area for ethno-performances, playgrounds for sports and folk dances, a cinema hall are prepared specially for the festival. And here there is a real horse yard.

Musicians - stars of Russian and world ethnic music - will perform here on the same stage with bands representing authentic musical traditions of the peoples of Tatarstan, Russia and the world.

By tradition, the program of “Krutushka” includes not only music. Here you can take part in various workshops: learn the dances of different nations, the basics of playing traditional instruments, make your own products from clay, leather, felt, vines, wood, beads, birch bark... Craft fair and workshops on Krutushka create an atmosphere of joy and creativity, encouraging every human being to realize that he or she is capable of inventing, composing, discovering, embodying! Film screenings of rare ethnographic and thematic feature films, an exhibition of works by artists and photographers reveal another facet of the festival.

The venue of the Krutushka festival is unique: the steep bank of the Kazanka River, a sunny meadow on one side and a chain of ice-free, eternally cold crystal "Blue Lakes" surrounded by a marvelous dense forest on the other.
