The international dance and music festival "PetroJazz" is the most sustainable international open-air, which has been held in the very heart of Saint Petersburg, next to Nevsky Prospekt since 2003. Over 20,000 viewers annually. Free admission since 2014. Here you can see jazz stars from many countries of the world.

The format of the festival was chosen as the main European open-airs, such as the Finnish Pori Jazz or the Dutch North Sea.

The festival was launched in 2003 under the title "International Peter and Paul Jazz Festival", later it was renamed as "Jazz Q". In 2007, after a short break, the festival was resumed under the current name PetroJazz and with a new concept, one of the main tasks of which is to make jazz accessible to everyone.

Initially, mostly foreign artists were invited to the festival. Nowadays jazzmen from Russia, Europe and the United States perform at PetroJazz.

In addition to concerts, there are master classes in jazz vocals and playing jazz instruments, dance master classes, as well as other entertainment events at the festival. PetroJazz collaborates with universities in St. Petersburg and provides internships for students. The festival has been doing charity work.
