Every year, beginning in 2012, the Siberian Fire festival is held in Bolshoi Oyosh. The format of the event is a military historical reconstruction, including military historical field camps and military clashes of various eras.

During this time, Siberian Flame has become one of Russia's largest festivals of historical reconstruction. On the territory of the festival there are interactive platforms where you can plunge into the life of a real medieval camp or the strengthening of the Soviet troops, shoot a bow or crossbow. In 2017, the festival was dedicated to the 315th anniversary of the founding of Umrevinsky prison, the 205th anniversary of the Battle of Borodino, the 100th anniversary of the October Revolution, the beginning of the heroic defense of Stalingrad in 1942 and the 80th anniversary of the Novosibirsk region. In addition, the program includes: a knight's tournament, a children's knight tournament, training of landsknechts and many other historical amusements and folk crafts that are loved by the audience.

Not only spectacles but also bread await the guests of the holiday: traditionally, there are cafes, snack bars and fast food points where you can satisfy your hunger and rest your tired legs - the festival area is several square kilometers. In addition, there are areas on the festival where you can buy stylized souvenirs: jewelry, accessories, coins, dishes, etc.

For the youngest guests and their parents, the Siberian Fire festival offers an original program of historical entertainment. On the playground, anyone can enjoy historical games and contests. On interactive sites, children will be able to go through the "course of the young fighter" of various historical eras, try on elements of armor and weapons, take pictures in a historical costume.

Entrance to the festival, viewing of the festival program and participation in interactive platforms for spectators is free. The festival has free public restrooms, points of primary and emergency medical care.

The military-historical festival is aimed at patriotic education of the population, understanding of values, moral principles of Russian traditions, at developing new forms of studying historical heritage, event and family tourism.

Sights: The old Siberian village of Kolyvan, built in 1713, deserves special attention. Favorable geographical and trade and transport position contributed to the rapid growth of the village: from a small pre-contract town Kolyvan turns into a place of active trade, where merchants gathered. The past has been frozen in merchant mansions for many decades, and Kolyvan has turned into a "museum of Siberian antiquities", which keeps on its streets not only amazing stone architecture, made by rich local merchants, but also monuments of carved wooden architecture.
