The “Days of Harvest” festival is aimed at preserving and transmitting the traditions of Russian culture, the Russian countryside, and specifically the traditions of the harvest.

On this day, the guests of the festival present the full cycle of this holiday - familiarity with the tools, their preparation, going out to the field with songs, mowing, threshing, grain blowing. Guests can personally take part in the harvest process: from mowing to baking bread and cooking kutia in the oven. The bread from the field is removed (looks at) the way our ancestors did - manually. The program of the event includes:

  • Begin. Spiritualization of the field;
  • Wheat mowing with hand braids;
  • Harvest - picking up the mowed bread in the sheaves (will go parallel);
  • Loading of sheaves on a cart and transportation from the field to the threshing site;
  • On the ground near the bright room threshing flails (this is a very beautiful musical and rhythmic spectacle and exercise);
  • Manual winnowing of grain;
  • Lunch on the straw;
  • Quiet time (rest on the grass, on the straw, under the cart);
  • Tea from a samovar;
  • Cooking flour in a manual bread mill;
  • Pounding grain in a mortar for kutya. Billet in the morning;
  • Dinner for overnight guests;
  • Songs and conversations around the fire.

The whole program of the day is accompanied by folklore singing. The festival organizers ask guests to come to the event in Russian national clothes.
