The opening of the summer tourist season in the Altai Territory.

The flowering of the maral is a bright explosion of emotions, it awakens the ever-sleeping mountains. When spring frees cities and plains from snow, a maral rose with purple-pink color. This happens only in the Altai Mountains! The blooming maral is one of the region’s brands that attracts thousands of tourists to Altai during the May holidays. A large excursion and dense event program in the special economic zone "Turquoise Katun" is timed to this unique natural phenomenon.

The holiday dedicated to the blooming of the maral is completed by the international tourist forum VISIT ALTAI and opens the summer tourist season in the Altai Territory. "Turquoise Katun" prepares for the guests of this event entertainment for any age. Here they arrange a colorful parade and excursions to the places of flowering of the maral. On the open stage, popular fashion groups and theaters perform, artisans conduct master classes in fair rows.
