Beat Film Festival - The international festival of documentary films about a new culture.
One of the largest film festivals in Russia and a large-scale cultural event that acquaints citizens with the most relevant from the world of music, contemporary art, media, street culture, sports and new technologies. The mission of the festival is to shape the cultural agenda and open documentaries to the general public as a new genre of entertainment.
The Beat Film Festival is dozens of feature films and tens of thousands of spectators every year, it shows on the main venues of the capital, curatorial programs in partnership with renowned cultural and media institutions. His program includes Russian premieres of documentary hits of prestigious international film festivals, a VR section, a national competition aimed at supporting young Russian documentary filmmakers, meetings with filmmakers, discussions and theme parties with the participation of foreign artists.
The Beat Film Festival has been held annually since 2010 in late May – early June in Moscow.
