The Arkhangelsk Youth Theater, which is one of the pioneers of the festival movement in the Arkhangelsk region, in 2004 decided to create a new project - the music and theater festival “European Spring”, which would become understandable and accessible to all viewers of our region.

Since 2008, the European Spring Festival has become an annual event. The Youth Theater is trying every time to bring interesting, original, unusual groups to Arkhangelsk that would meet the mission of the festival: to acquaint the audience of our city and region with new genres of theatrical and musical art.

In 2015, the anniversary 10th festival "European Spring" was held, which by this time had already firmly taken its place among the most prominent events in the cultural life of the region.

Among the participants of the festival "European Spring" in different years were: Academic Theater. Evg. Vakhtangov, Kolyada-Theater, Peking Opera, Tatiana Vasilyeva, Evgeny Grishkovets, Nino Katmadze, Goran Bregovich orchestra, clown mime Lycedei Theater, Billy’s band and others.

Borisov; Northern Maritime Museum; Monument to Russian Emperor Peter the Great, erected in Arkhangelsk in 1914; Art Museum; Arkhangelsk Drama Theater named after M. V.
