The international cultural and entertainment ballooning festival "Sky of Russia" will be held in Ryazan from August 19 to 23. An integral part of the festival is sports competitions, the Championship of Russia and the Ryazan Region Cup in aeronautics among hot air balloons. Participants will be teams from Moscow and the Moscow Region, Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Tula, Surgut, Ufa, Tatarstan, the Republics of Crimea and Mari El.
The 30th anniversary of the festival is planned to celebrate the flight of 30 balloons.
In the evening of August 19, 2020, the festival will open at a venue near a local attraction - the Ryazan Kremlin, and on August 22, a big celebration with balloons, live music, entertainment and, of course, evening illumination will take place on Orekhovoe Lake. Also, all flights within the framework of the festival will be tied to Ryazan and its environs so that balloons are always above the heads of citizens!
