The Horse Festival has been held in the Vologda Region since 2003. Every year, it gathers up to five thousand participants and spectators not only from the Vologda region, but also from other regions. The most spectacular part of the holiday are the All-Russian competitions of Russian triples. Also among the events are demonstration performances of equestrian clubs, racing on motorcycles, taking a snow fortress, skating from the icy mountains, heroic games, competitions, performances of creative teams, fair.
