The festival “Film Testing” was first held in 2000 in the metropolitan sports complex “Olimpiyskiy”, it gathered the best musicians of the country who performed songs of the KINO group.

June 21, 2017 on the day of the 55th anniversary of Viktor Tsoi in Okulovka, the first festival "KINOprobory.Solstice" was held, at which the groups Chayf, Alisa, Pilot, Knyazz, Louna, Brigadier Contract and others performed. Then the festival took place one day, the whole event, despite the weekday and the lack of advertising, was visited by 11 thousand people, and the event as a whole received excellent feedback from viewers and the media.

In June 2018, Film Testing expanded its horizons. For two and a half days, more than 34 thousand people visited the festival. Along with the well-known bands DDT, Pilot, Dolphin, Alisa, Kalinov Most, Louna, YORSH, Operation Plasticine, Dite Tank (!), Refining, music lovers were pleased with local performers Annabel, OM, Blackbird, A-Project. A real sensation for the public was the performance of the German bands Mordor and Tanzwut, who jointly sang the song Tsoi.

On the second day of the festival, the audience was pleased with Knyaz, Seti, Buckwheat, Neyromonam Feofan, Sergey Bobunets, 25/17, Brainstorm and many others. An unusual event was the speech of Leonid Agutin at an event of this format. The artist himself would be pleasantly impressed by the incredibly warm welcome of the public.

The festival “Film tests-2018” was closed on Sunday, June 24 with a concert of Bi-2 group and fireworks.

Of course, on the festival territory one could find a huge amount of non-musical entertainment. So, the animators of Mosigra presented a variety of board games to the guests, taught everyone and made a company.

Childish guests came off in the children's area with inflatable slides, trampolines, zorbs, merry-go-round and throwing shooting gallery. For those who like to keep themselves in good shape, sports tournaments in football, volleyball, badminton and table tennis were held on the pitch.

The color of the Middle Ages was felt in this knightly town. Here, the guests attended master classes in blacksmithing and modeling, participated in knightly tournaments and watched demonstration performances, tried themselves in battles on timbars and much more.

The Novgorod region did not stand aside and prepared a number of interesting surprises for the open-air guests. So, those who wished could make cool photos in photo zones; tried their hand at rafting right on the field and took part in intellectual games in Novgorod.

The educational project "Your Story" presented ROK-TALK "PRO ..." - this is a project dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Leningrad rock club. The creators of the project held a series of public discussions on the territory of the cultural zone of the festival, lectures and informal communication with the heroes and witnesses of the era.

Another unique venue at the festival was the visiting exhibition of the first national museum of rock music “REALIES OF RUSSIAN ROCK”.

In Okulovka, the museum presented historical posters, posters, magazines, records, tapes, and, of course, musical instruments of legendary teams. The creator of the rock museum Vladimir Rekshan told us more about this.

The festival is very young and is just beginning to gain its audience.
