On the first Saturday of August on the spacious and picturesque site between the age-old pine forest and the wayward Klyazma a large-scale holiday soup is held. It seems that time stood still - on the right hand the forest, on the left - the river, in the air - the smoke of the fires and the aroma of the preparing soup. According to the established tradition, the main event of the festival will be a kind of competition between the teams, who will cook the fish soup better and tastier. The participants themselves make fires, they do not install kettles, but huge pots and even buckets to feed everyone with their culinary masterpieces.

While the artels will “minister” near the fire, the best creative teams of Kameshkovsky district will perform on the stage for the spectators - they will sing, dance, and offer to participate in fun games. Little fishermen will try to catch a small fish in the basin established by the river.
